Margaret Yung was born in Shenyang, China in1926, she moved to Shanghai in 1933. During the Sino-Japanese war, the family moved between Shanghai and Hong Kong for many times. Graduated from University of Shanghai in 1948. Again back to Hong Kong and married to Frank Yung in 1949, together they raised two sons and a daughter. After living twenty years in HK, they moved to Singapore. They retired in 1977 and migrated to the United States. Since childhood Margaret had a strong interest in art. Finally in 1983, she realized her wish to engage in art and became a student of her admired Professor Hou Beiren. Margaret has participated in ASACA student exhibits at various locations multiple times.

榮卞箎年祖籍江蘇儀征，1926年出生于中國瀋陽，1933年隨雙親抵滬，在抗日期間數次往返于上海和香港之間。1948年畢業于滬江大學，1949年再次回香港並與容志仁結婚，育有兒子一女。滯港廿年之後遷居新加坡。1977年退休並移民美國。自幼對藝術有極大之興趣和愛好，于1983年開始與仰慕已久之侯北人老師習畫。曾參加ASACA中華藝術學會在各地舉辦之畫展。
